I have made my position clear repeatedly over the years, but here it is again in another, much longer format written in a hopefully clear form of words which amount to the same thing as I have been saying for many years. Some of you may be familiar with parts of it already, but it does require more concentration than normal, for the concept of the abstractive fiction: *action as a non-existent fallacy* may be new to you?

Conceptualising, aware, actively communicating humans (and other animals) are physical – and when I say physical I MEAN completely and utterly physical creatures and that the so-called *activity* of physical and neurological ideation no more exists than the *twinkling* of the Christmas lights on a festive tree.

2. In a similar way that the active areas of the human neural network are seen to light up as the ideating brain's neurons and the electro-chemical synapsal on-off switches assume different configurations during observation of memory coding and retrieval with functional magnetic resonance imagery fMRI, it is only the thinking fleshy brain’s illuminant areas of soft tissue and the chemical and electrons which are to be found therein, just as it is the Christmas tree's programmed electrical circuitry of metal wires and glass bulbs and the electrons involved which exist and not the twinkling action of its lighting set.

3. Hence the physically patterned neurons, the pattern-coded and arranged matergic bits and pieces of fleshy neurological material then converts pattern-positioned neurons into communicative data in the form of letters, words, and the graphological operating instructions which enable the data to be either written in the form of ink, graphite, or electronic impacts upon the phosphorus inside-surface of a computer monitor, or converted into phoneme-strings which initiate sound production via vibrating air waves, or are commuted as the physiological instructions for semaphore flag positions, or the semiological sequences of dot-dash symbolism of morse code, depending upon whether the communication is signed orally or graphically in the form of text, or flagged from ship to ship using coloured flags.

4. Such is the totally physical nature of the modally existential human brain from nanosecond to nanosecond (the way the brain meat sequentially exists) and such is the physically modalic conceptual arrangement of communicative codification (phonemes, words, sentential strings) which are internal manifestations of how the agential addressor exists PHYSICALLY as he/she employs the physicalities of vibrating oxygen gas, ink, graphite, paint, carved wood, stone, metal, plastic and electronic entities to convey the linguistical data to the addressee.

5. The human addressee is equipped with extensions of the brain called eyes to read graphically communicated data, and extensions of the brain called ears to hear the datergic input of linguistic data conveyed to the brain in the form of electro chemical matergy. The incoming data is them reconverted as physically re-patterned neurons and the rearranged matergic bits and pieces of fleshy neurological material then converts pattern-positioned neurons into understandably accessible data in the form of concepts, letters, words.

6. Thus the matergic numerical and textual symbols we encounter in the environment exist as inherently meaningless matergic symbols which facilitate the human meaning-creating, pattern-constructing and meaning extracting addressor and addressee concerned in accomplishing the transfer of information regarding the neurological patterns of one human brain to another. Compare whether the *value* of a coin resides inherently in the coin or whether its value is a concept of the human brain in relation to its exchange value as a symbol of worth.

7. Where does this leave the two bits of text before us? Here they are again:

[1] there is an even prime number

[2] an even prime number exists

The even prime number *2* referred to in both [1] and [2] exists in as much as it is either formed of physical material such as dried ink, pencil graphite, a metal sign on somebody’s door, a plastic illuminated sign, dried paint on a footballers shirt, or the specially arranged patterns of electrons on the screen before you, or is coded as arrangements of networked electro-chemical datergic entities in the brains of whoever is thinking about the neurological symbol *2.

8. But it is only in the human brain that the electro-chemically symbolised ideation: *2* * exists as a meaningful object to the other areas of the brain concerned with the interlingual-intersymbolic rendition translation of networked synapsal clusters. The material number *2* sign on the printed page of whatever material it may be constructed inherently, is utterly meaningless without a human brain to convert its symbolic morphology into a mirrored neurological version from which meaning (i. e. the contemporary neurological patterns of matergy that existed in the brain of the human who created its specially shaped form for coding purposes – the electronically form symbol *2* that your eyes have alighted upon on the screen before you.

9. Conclusion.
(a) The ink, graphite, electronic sign *2* exists as an unmeaningful, matergic object outside the heads of the community of human brains.

(b) Within the human community of embrained ideational animals, the neuronal arrangement of electro-chemically infused material (brain-meat) adopts and produces (causes) the neurologically meaningful codal and decodal states of the embrained human coder-decoder whilst he/she exists in a state of being *2-aware.* Thus the sign *2* and all other ideational and communicative meaningfully symbolised datergy, (numerical, textual, musical or otherwise) exists as a transient existential state of the human coder-decoder at the time of *2-ideation.*

[1] there is a meaningful even prime number modality of the mathematicised human brain - otherwise it exists as no more than dried in on a piece of paper.

[2] a meaningful even prime number only exists as a neuronal configuration of the reticulate human brain - it only exists as inert meaningless material outside of the community of human brains.
